10th House Press has been formed to present Cynthia Cirile's books about Edgar Allan Poe exclusively. Based in Chatsworth, CA, the goal of 10th House Press is to make the writings of Cirile known to the general public and scholarly reader, alike.
Cynthia Cirile and John Fasano are the 10th House Press publishers. | The fine line drawing above is by Alexander Von Jost, an engraver who was active in Richmond, Virginia, in the early 20th century. The Poe Museum in Richmond owns engravings he did of Poe, his wife, his mother and the Poe Shrine. This portrait of Poe by Von Jost is from the Estate of Carroll Fuller Sweet. |
This delightful engraving of Edgar Allan Poe was discovered by Jeffrey Savoye
of the Poe Society. It appeared in a popular magazine during the 1880s.
